Inclusive Language

Inclusive language is a style of language that avoids expressions that its proponents perceive as expressing or implying ideas that are sexist, racist, or otherwise biased, prejudiced, or insulting to a particular group(s) of people. Instead, it uses language intended to avoid offense and fulfill the ideals of social inclusion and equity.

“Being inclusive and having an inclusive language is not just a question of how we speak but how we act with respect to the other and ourselves.”
