Cis-Normality / Cis-Sexism

(From the term cisgender, which means the person whose gender identity is aligned and compatible with their biological sex or sex assigned at birth)

The terms cis-normality and cisnormative include the assumption that people are either men or women based on their body parts and that everyone is cisgender. This social norm (also referred to as cis-normativity) is the idea that being cis-gender is superior to being transgender, non-binary, or gender non-conforming. Like heteronormativity, cisnormativity puts extreme pressure on people to be cis-gender.

Cis-Sexism: Oppression-based assumption that transgender identities and sex embodiments are less legitimate than cis-gender ones.
