Questioning

This refers to people who are exploring what their sexual orientation and/or gender identity and gender expression might be. “The simplest thing to start with is that it is a journey, thoughts that can start at any age. Because I’m having a hard time figuring out what I am. Why would my brother, for example, know who he is and make it easy for him? Why should I have to go through all this? So, you start with “simple,” “innocent” thoughts and it all evolves. And it slowly comes down to the fact that what I was given when I was born doesn’t represent who I am and who I want to be. It’s a long journey that starts from all aspects of life and ends up back to what I am.  The basic question around this whole question is “What am I?” and “What do I want to be?”. It’s a personal thing.”
